All we have to say here is, “Good luck getting your hands on these!” Nike recently created a Nike Air Max 1 Hyperfuse sneaker called the “New Blood” to commemorate the start of the 2011 Rugby World Cup. The sneaker—which was originally unveiled in August—has a pretty basic black colorway that makes it look very clean. The words “NEW” and “BLOOD” are also written across each of the sneaker’s tongues to add a subtle hint of color into the mix. But that’s not really the best part.
In addition to getting the sneakers, Nike has also partnered up with Beats By Dre to create a customized set of headphones that will be packaged with every pair of “New Blood” sneakers. So in addition to getting a super-cool pair of sneaks, you’ll also get some high-quality headphones packaged in a well-designed shoebox with your purchase—all for just $198.
Now for the bad news. It’s going to be next to impossible for you to land a pair of these. That’s because Nike will only be selling them at their 1948 store in East London this weekend. So unless you’ve got a homie across the pond willing to wait on line for a pair of these, you’re probably going to be out of luck. But even still, they’re nice to look at, right? So, keep dreaming—and checking eBay—for your chance to own a pair.
